SOLAS Diving Stickers

SOLAS grade relflective tape is US Coast Guard approved and is used worldwide for the marking of marine saftey equipment. This has got to be the most effective way currently available to identify yourself to your surface cover/dive boat skipper during your ascent and deco or on any dive requiring a surface marker buoy. Strong self-adhesive backed but extra care is needed when fitting to a DSMB. Please see our SOLAS fitting guide.

The SOLAS stickers are also a very effective way to name your dive boat, tender or marine saftey equipment. Customers requiring a particular text font should contact Dive Signs before placing their order.

All SOLAS stickers come with 65mm bold lettering as standard. We recommend that two SOLAS stickers are fitted per DSMB (one on each side) to ensure your surface cover can see at least one of them.

RNLI lifeboats get called out for lone drifting DSMBs so to make their job a bit easier it has been requested that divers display a phone number as well as their name on their DSMB. An quick call could end an otherwise lengthy search for a potentially missing diver.
